Land on Planet Zeppelin This June

Calling all Led Zeppelin fans! The legends of Rock are taking over UK Radio station Planet Rock for the entire month of June to celebrate the re-issues of their first three classic albums plus companion disc. We give you - Planet Zeppelin.

Join the station ‘Where Rock Lives’ to hear back to back specials, on-demand videos and social media updates for shows including a two hour Jimmy Page ‘My Planet Rocks’ special, featuring a brand new and exclusive interview with the legendary Zeppelin axe man.

The interview with Jimmy will play out on air on 1st of June and will be available to view on demand via Planet Rock’s YouTube channel. Zeppelin’s new re-issues take over ‘Planet Rock Plays It In Full’ each Monday from 11pm throughout June, a feature which spins classic rock albums in their entirety with no interruptions, jingles or presenters between the songs.

Led Zeppelin cover versions will be played in DJ Wyatt’s ‘Cover Up’ show each week day just after 1pm and in an ongoing special named ‘Unlock the Led’ – Planet Rock will play 100 different Zeppelin songs across the station throughout the whole of June.

The power is then handed over to you at the end of the month, as the station search for the ultimate Led Zeppelin album of all time as voted by Planet Rock listeners.

Planet Rock Programme Manager Liz Barnes said: “We could probably dedicate a whole year of shows to the mighty Led Zeppelin but we’ve squeezed the very best content and exclusives into four weeks of jaw-dropping, lick-tastic rock ‘n’ roll awesomeness just for you. Bring on Planet Zeppelin!”
